Details, objective, experience, education, courses, skills and languages. Choose your field to see ready-made phrases, and tap them to insert.

Simple, Modern, Classic or With photo. The preview shows the PDF as it will look.

You can stop halfway: what you filled in stays saved on your device, and you can pick up later.

How to write a good resume

Recruiters look at each resume for a few seconds. So the best resume is short, clear and easy to read:

  • One page when possible. Two only with a lot of experience in the field.
  • Made for the job. Change your objective and the order of your experience for each kind of job.
  • Action verbs and facts. “Served customers and closed sales” says more than “people person”.
  • No decoration. A common font, no tables and no skill charts: applicant tracking systems read plain text better.

What goes in each section

SectionWhat to include
DetailsName, phone, e-mail and city. No full address, date of birth or marital status
ObjectiveOne sentence with the job or field you want
Summary2 to 3 sentences about what you have done and can do
ExperienceMost recent job first: title, company, dates and 3 to 5 duties
EducationYour highest level, finished or in progress, with the expected date
CoursesThe ones related to the job, with the hours when you have them
SkillsWhat you can use or do: software, machines, customer service
LanguagesOnly the ones you really use, with your level

Common mistakes

  • An odd e-mail address. Use one with your name. Create one just for job hunting if you need to.
  • Typos. Read it out loud, slowly, or ask someone to read it before you send it.
  • Too much personal data. ID numbers, children and religion don’t belong on a resume.
  • Lies or exaggeration. Anything on your resume can come up in the interview. Only include what you did.
  • A party photo. If the job asks for a photo, use a head-and-shoulders one with a plain background.
  • Sending a picture. Send your resume as a PDF, not as a screenshot or photo.

Ready-made phrases by field

Choose your field in the first step: sales, administrative, customer service, first job or internship, logistics, healthcare (technician), IT, education, construction and maintenance, beauty, driver and delivery, or cleaning and general services. You get suggestions for the objective, the summary, the duties of each job and your skills. One tap inserts the phrase, and you edit it your way.

Your data stays on your device

The resume is built and stored in your device’s browser. No data goes to our server, and the PDF is created right there: the file never leaves your device. On someone else’s phone or computer, tap Delete my data when you finish.

Frequently asked questions

Is the resume builder really free?

Yes. You fill it in, choose a template and download the PDF without paying or creating an account. No watermark and no locked pages.

Do I need to sign up?

No. Your data is saved only in your device’s browser, so you can continue later. To erase it, tap Delete my data.

Where is my data? Can you see my resume?

We can’t. The resume is built and stored in your browser, and it never leaves your device: nothing goes to our server, not even the PDF. Details in the privacy policy.

Will my resume get through applicant tracking systems (ATS)?

The 4 templates were made for that: one column, a common font, clear headings and real, selectable text. No system guarantees the job, but your resume will be read.

Should my resume have a photo?

In the US and the UK, leave the photo out. Some countries and jobs expect one. The With photo template uses a head-and-shoulders photo, which stays on your device.

I have never worked. How do I make a resume?

Choose the field First job or internship. Use the ready-made objective and summary, and add your education, courses and skills. Volunteer work, side jobs and helping in a family business count as experience too.

How long should a resume be?

One page is ideal for almost everyone. Two, if you have many years of experience in the field. Cut what is not related to the job before going past one page.

Can I edit the PDF later?

The easiest way is to come back here on the same device: your data is still saved. Change what you need and download it again.

How do I send my resume by e-mail?

Download the PDF and attach it as a document, not as a picture. If the job site asks for a small file, compress the PDF first.
