How to rotate a PDF in 3 steps
Choose the PDF
Tap Choose PDF and pick the file.
Pick the direction and pages
90° right, 180° or 90° left; all pages or only some, like 2-4.
Rotate and download
Tap Rotate PDF, then Download PDF. The file ends with “-rotated” in its name.
Rotate the whole PDF in two taps
The most common case is a document scanned sideways: every page lying down. Here you choose the PDF and tap Rotate PDF. The thumbnail shows the first page already rotated, so you can check the direction before saving.
When only some pages are sideways, like the attachments of a contract, type which ones: “5-8” rotates 5 to 8, “3, 10” rotates 3 and 10, “7-“ rotates from 7 to the end.
The rotation is really saved
Rotating in a PDF reader usually changes only the screen. Here the rotation goes into the file: it opens the right way on a phone, a computer, in email and in whatever system you upload it to. Nothing is redrawn, and text stays text.

Frequently asked questions
How do I fix a PDF that opens sideways?
Choose the PDF, keep 90° right (or pick 90° left, depending on the side) and tap Rotate PDF. The preview shows how the page will look before you save.
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Under Which pages, tap Only some and type the page number, like 3. For several, use commas and hyphens: 1-3, 7.
I rotated it in my PDF reader, but it opens sideways again. Why?
Many readers only rotate the view, without changing the file. Here the rotation is saved in the PDF: it opens rotated on any device.
Does rotating lose quality?
No. The page isn’t redrawn: text stays selectable, and images, links and fields stay the same.
I want to turn each page a different way. Can I?
To rotate page by page while seeing thumbnails, use organize PDF. There you can also delete and reorder pages.
What's the difference between 90° right and left?
Right turns clockwise; left, counterclockwise. If the text lies on its side facing up, rotate right; facing down, rotate left. Upside down, use 180°.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is rotated and saved in your browser. It never leaves your device.
Is there a page limit?
Up to 500 pages and 50 MB.
Can I open a password-protected PDF?
