Terms of Use

These terms apply to everyone who uses pegapdf.com.br. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.

The service

The site offers, for free and with no sign-up, tools to:

• merge, split, compress and organize PDFs;
• turn photos into a PDF and PDF pages into JPG images.

The tools run in your browser. The files you pick are opened and processed on your device and aren’t sent to our server. The exception is Word, Excel and PowerPoint to PDF: there, the document goes to our server only to become a PDF and is deleted right away. We don’t host, keep or see your documents.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13. If you’re under 18, use the site with a parent’s or guardian’s knowledge.

Your files are your responsibility

Use the tools with documents that are yours or that you have the right to use. What you do with the result is your responsibility, including respecting copyright, image rights and the confidentiality of other people’s documents.

Before sending a file made here to a government office, a company or a court, open it and check that every page is correct and readable.

Prohibited uses

You may not:

• use the site to get around the protection of other people’s documents, or alter documents to deceive anyone (forging a receipt, for example);
• use bots, scripts or automated integrations without written permission;
• attack, overload or probe the site for vulnerabilities without permission;
• copy the site, embed the tools in another site or resell the service.

Anyone who breaks these rules may be blocked without notice.

Limits

Since everything happens on your device, each tool has size and page limits so phones don’t freeze. Current limits are shown on the tool pages and may change.

The service is provided as is

We do our best to keep everything working, but we don’t guarantee that:

• every PDF will open. Password-protected files won’t, and damaged or non-standard files may fail;
• the result will fit every purpose. For example, strong compression turns text into an image, and any change breaks a certificate-based digital signature;
• the site will be available without interruption.

Always keep your original file. We may change, pause or shut down tools at any time. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer.

No affiliation

PegaPDF is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Adobe. Adobe and Acrobat are registered trademarks of Adobe Inc. PDF is an open format (ISO 32000). The brands mentioned belong to their owners.

Ads

The site is paid for by Google AdSense ads, and we don’t pick each ad shown. No download button is an ad. We also never ask you to install an app or extension, or turn on notifications, to use a tool. If an ad asks for that, let us know.

Content removal

Anyone with rights over content published on the site’s pages can request removal through the removal page or at [email protected]. We reply within 2 business days.

Privacy

How we handle data is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Requests about your personal data: [email protected].

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date shows the version in force. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you’re a consumer, you can bring any dispute before the courts where you live.
