Content Removal and Copyright

Updated on October 25, 2026

This page is for anyone who holds rights over some content and wants to request its removal.

We don’t keep files

The PegaPDF tools run in the user’s browser. PDFs and photos are opened and processed on that person’s device and never reach our server. That means:

  • we have no copy of any document processed here, and no way to search for one;
  • there’s no public page with users’ files to take down;
  • we can’t delete a file someone created and saved on their own device.

If a document of yours is circulating without permission, send the removal request to the site, social network or service where it was published.

What we can remove

Content on our own pages: texts, images and examples published at pegapdf.com.br. If something there uses your material without permission, or mentions you in a way you don’t want, ask us to remove it.

Who can ask

  • The author or rights holder of the content.
  • The person mentioned or shown in the content, to protect their own image.
  • A representative, like a lawyer, agency or rights management company, with supporting documents.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with the subject “Removal” and this information:

  1. Your full name and an email address for the reply.
  2. Your relationship to the content: author, person mentioned or representative. Representatives send a power of attorney or written authorization.
  3. The address of the page on the site with the content, and the passage in question.
  4. The reason: copyright, image rights, trademark or other.
  5. This statement: “I declare, in good faith, that the information in this request is true and that I am the rights holder or am authorized to act on their behalf.”

DMCA-style notices follow the same procedure. If anything is missing, we’ll reply saying what’s needed.

Timeline

We reply within 2 business days. If the request is approved, the content is removed from the page or corrected.

False requests and user data

  • Requests with false information are rejected. Anyone impersonating a rights holder may be held liable in court.
  • We don’t disclose data about people who use the site without a court order. And since files never go through us, there are no documents of anyone to hand over.
